Les Menuires is a ski resort at about 700 miles from London. The resort
hosted the men's slalom alpine skiing event at the 1992 Winter Olympics.
Les Menuires was founded in 1964 and has an altitude range of 1,850 m
(6,070 ft). The ski area goes from 1300 until 3200 meters
Skiing is assured from the beginning of december till the end of april. Les
Menuires is part of the famous 3 Valleys. 3 Valleys is with 600km the
largest ski area in Europe.
